New Camera

I probably just spent way too much money, but I couldn't resist to buy it! It's a Canon Powershot sx 210IS and I already LOVE it! I just took a couple shots inside and a couple on my balkony and the pics look great, I think :)
I usually hate spiders but this one was great to use the zoom and see how great it works! I took the picture 2 meters away.

Netherlands

Momo and I used the chance of a free long weekend to go to the Netherlands with two other couples. We had great weather and a lot of fun! On Sunday we made a bike tour about 25 km and walked a long way at the beach, I was exhausted afterwards, but it was worth it! I should've worn a cami to ride the bike, because now I'M wearing a white t-shirt even without wearing anything :)

Cologne

yesterday we made a trip to cologne, the weather was just geat! First we went to body worlds, long the which was pretty cool. After that we went to the city where we took a walk at the Rhine. we saw the cathedral and ate ice cream. Actually we wanted to go to the Olympic and Chocolate Museum, but we will do this when the sun won't shine for us! After a great day we went out to eat with my mom and dad!

Düsseldorf

Here are some pictures of our first trip during vacation, we went to Düsseldorf, just enjoying the city and walking around, the weather was great for the first 2 hours then it was raining and windy so we took a seat at one of the bars , where you were able to seat outside ( with heaters of course!), and a drink, after that we had a great steakt and went to the movies, although I was soaking after that walk!!

Night shift

I know I haven't written for a long time, but right now there is really nothing interesting to tell about, I'm just working almost everyday and the other time I try to catch up some sleep and quality time with a good book( I think I read 10 pages within 3 months....)!

Right now it's 4:45 am and I am at work, it's the last day before my vacation! All my children are sleeping and so I'm using the time to update my blog :)

The musical Wicked opened this week in Oberhausen, which is only an hour away and I got tickets in row 11 for the 24th! I can't wait, although I already saw it in New York and Stuttgart, I'm really excited. That's all for now, waiting for the next 1,5 hours to get over and to fall asleep!

News

Three weeks ago my neighbor, who lived in the appartment above my parents died. He was almost like my grandfather, because as kids me and my brother were quite often there. His wife died already a year and a half ago and he didn't really want to live without her... I'm happy for them that they can be together now!

Since the appartment is empty now and my parents don't want any strange people there any more I'll move in there and my brother will live in my appartment. Right now I have to renovate A LOT! I'll get a new bathroom, all rooms have to be painted and three rooms are getting new flooring. So this is the big news :)

Here are some pictures of graduation day. It's already three weeks ago and I started working 2 weeks ago. It's fun to do things I wasn't allowed to yet, but still a lot to study!

Finally vacation pictures

Here are finally some pictures of our vacation in Mallorca. We had more, but our SD-disk broke after 5 days, so most of the pictures are gone :(
We had a really relaxing week and a lot of fun! We stayed in Sa Coma and drove to Palma and Arenal once. Most of the time we were at the beach :)

A walk in the forest

Last weekend I went for a walk in the forest with my parents. The lake was pretty brown and on our way back there were people swimming in it....oh well. It was really nice weather and under the trees not too hot!

Here is finally a picture of my new haircut, it's actually just a trim but I like it a lot!! It is so easy to do in the morning!

Written exam

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I'll have my written exams. I had four whole days of studying and I did study before that, too,but right now I feel like I don't know anything at all! I'm just sooooo glad when everything is over and I'm sitting on the beach!!! I can't wait. So keep your fingers crossed that I'll be able to answer the questions and pass everything!

Haircut

It's time for a new haircut :) Best part about it: My best friend's mom does it for a piece of cake!!After the cut my friend and I will have a nice girls night, not sure yet what we will do, but it'll be fun!

Fireworks

On friday we and some of our friends went to the so called "firework-worldchampionship" in Jülich. We had a fund day and the fireworks were awesome. The bad thing about it was, I took my camera, but the battery went dead after 4 pictures and the fireworks haven't even started :) Oh well!

Vacation

Today I had my practical exams. During the morning I thought everything was great, but the evaluation afterwards didn't sound too good. I don't know, everybody else said my work was always great. And the other students who had their evaluation said the same, so I have no idea how it went! I'll get my results on August 20th, a LONG time to wait!!!

To make my day happier Momo and I went to the Airport in Cologne and looked for vacation, we booked a hotel on Mallorca, Spain, here is the link, take a look at the pictures, I think it'll be great!!!

Sunburned...

We had really hot weather the last week but since i had t work all the time and the last weekend i couldn't really enjoy the sunshine, just the sweating ;)
Today was my first day off and I went to the lake with Momo, just to take a walk, no swimming, it was hot, but not THAT bad that i thought I wouldn't need sunlotion. Well, I should've used some. my shoulders are pretty red now, but tan in a couple days :)
